Merry Christmas One and All

It’s that time of year when we look back and reflect on the past 12 months and look forward to the new year ahead.

I don’t keep a diary as the photo section of my phone is the best diary for me. Here are some highlights from 2021.

The beginning of the year started in lockdown . By the end of January an idea was formulating to design a new collection called Signature, less formal wedding outfits that are very wearable afterwards for mothers and guests . The plan grew to have Signature and our expanded Casual Chic Collection plus Accessories available to buy online .

By February a small group of our production team were back in the factory and we designed and made the sample collection.

The Government allowed us to re open our doors on 23rd April and it has been non stop since then .

By the end April we were casting for models for the photoshoot for the new collection . In mid May the complete collection was photographed and filmed and a new online site was underway.

Now we were back in full swing with the wedding season busier than ever with all the cancelled weddings from 2020 plus the new orders for 2021 our production team were run off their feet.

The new website was launched in September.

At the end of June, Florence our manager of the Glasgow shop retired and we wish her a long and happy retirement after many years of loyal support and many joyful moments with our lovely clients.

The main events and what we are all here for are our client’s wedding days and here are some pictures from a few of the weddings which took place from early restrictions in April through to full blown “back to normal “ weddings later in the year.

These are just a few photos that we have received from our clients who had weddings this year.

Many weddings that took place were on their 3rd and 4th dates that kept changing because of Covid.

Covid has been a challenging time for Brides and Grooms planning their weddings but all of them whether curtailed in numbers or the luckier ones who were able to have all their guests, all report what a totally amazing day they had.

Below are a few of the outfits on their final collection from our showrooms

If you have a wedding to look forward to next year above are some happy photos to put you in the mood. If you have still to book an appointment please contact us as soon as possible as 2022 will be a busy year for weddings and it is advisable to get organised plenty of time in advance.

We wish everybody a joyous time over the Festive Holidays and a very Happy and Healthy year ahead.
