“I was the Mother of the Groom and wore a silk organza coat and crepe dress, with matching hat, shoes and bag.
I had expert guidance in store as to what would best suit my figure. I had a vast array of designs and fabrics to choose from and was able to mix and match to ensure I had the neckline and length of outfit I wanted and was able to have sleeves added to the dress I selected.
Val supervised the various fittings required – from toile to the final fitting, which was undertaken a fortnight prior to the wedding to ensure a perfect fit on the Big Day as I had been losing weight over a period of time.
Val also used her experience as a milliner to make me a beautiful hat to set everything off. My lovely, bespoke outfit made me feel confident on the day and I receive many compliments about it. I really enjoyed the whole experience, including the friendliness of the staff, whose attention to detail is second to none, and I will be returning soon to select an outfit for my daughter’s wedding next May.”
